We recommend RANPREX® for its various characteristics, which are mainly given by the special exploitation of its fibres, making this material different from all other composites.
According to the application for which the material has been studied, we can obtain and exploit its excellent mechanical properties in terms of compression, flexion, traction and impact resistance.
It is a material with low specific weight, much lighter and even easier to be handled than ferrous materials (it can replace Bronze and Brass), with strong characteristics of anti-wear.
The material is self-lubricating and anti-wear, and is suited for bushings, sliding elements, gears, cams, sliding blocks, and other components and is used to avoid the constant need for greasing.
Moreover, RANPREX® can be coupled either to Steel (C40, Inox, etc) in order to reduce the machines’ noise or with other types of material (Plastics, Polymers, Nylon, Teflon, etc) for the same purpose and always without any negative side-effects.
It is also an excellent thermal insulator and it owns good dimensional stability, making it suitable for components where temperature reaches +200°C (no free flames) and -200°C, still maintaining its tolerances.

Packaging machines: sliding parts, anti-noise gears, pushers, racks, end-line plates, sliding blocks for Shrinkwrappers, Palletisers/ Depalletisers, Labeling, Filling and Blow-molding machines.
Wood processing machines: sliding parts and guides for traditional machines (panel saws, spindle moulders, circular saws), components for blade protection and guiding, CNCs pantographs.
Textile industry: spiked lattices, carding willows and openers, gears for finishing machines, slat conveyors, shuttles, ledges for healds.
Thermoforming: thermoforming of carbon fiber and polycarbonate, cold bending of sheets and lamination. It is an excellent alternative to aluminium.
